Founded by a licensed Nurse Practitioner and supported by experienced leadership, our organization is built on compassion, dignity, and professional excellence.

Transportation |
Serenity Health & Supported Living Agency (SHSLA) provides transportation services specifically designed to meet the unique needs of its clients. These services facilitate safe and efficient movement between locations, fully compliant with Washington Administrative Code (WAC) policies, ensuring reliability and client safety.
Consultancy Assistance |
SHSLA does not offer direct care to clients but helps facilitate professional services i.e. accessing healthcare, helping to arrange medical and dental appointments etc., these services are provided by professionals outside of SHSLA and are contingent on the approval of DDCS and the client’s guardian e.g. Right Response, Dentist Link etc. SHSLA ensures that all services remain legally compliant with Washington state regulations, maintaining the highest standard in accordance with WAC 388-10150.
Housing Assistance |
SHSLA is committed to educating and supporting clients in securing and maintaining appropriate housing. The agency assists clients in selecting preferred living arrangements within the community, including apartments, condominiums, or houses, promoting independence and community integration.
Financial Aide |
SHSLA offers financial assistance tailored to clients’ specific needs, provided with the involvement and consent of the client’s guardian. Clients retain full autonomy and may decline financial services at any time, ensuring respect for individual choice and control.
Community Activities |
The agency supports the organization and facilitation of community activities for clients, including transportation for outings, work commutes, and appointments. All activities are conducted in accordance with DDCS WAC policies and with the consent of the client, their case manager, and/or guardian, fostering social engagement and independence.
Direct Support Personnel |
SHSLA’s Direct Support Personnel (DSPs) play a vital role in assisting clients with essential activities; offering support and training where it is needed. Their support includes teaching of new skills, training, helping clients build new relationships, being competent in their roles, supervising when appropriate ensuring safety and so much more!
Licensed Nurse Delegation & Health Monitoring Services |
We provide professional nurse delegation services to support individuals who require additional medical oversight in a home-based setting.
Services include:
- Blood sugar monitoring
- Medication administration support
- Health status monitoring
- Delegated nursing tasks under licensed supervision
This service ensures residents receive safe, consistent, and medically appropriate care within a supportive residential environment.
SHSLA receives our funding from DDA, a residential care services (RCS) waiver required. Please contact the Department of Developmental Administration (DDA) for more information.
